Frequently asked questions

Are the calculators free?

Yes. Every calculator and tool is free, with no account, sign-up, trial or download. The site is funded by advertising.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Calculators run in your browser with JavaScript; salaries, loan figures, invoices and files are processed on your device and never sent to our servers.

How accurate are the results?

Each calculator uses the current published rules from the official authority named on its page (for example FBR, MOHRE, GOSI, HMRC, the IRS, the CRA or the ATO) and prints the date the rules were last checked. Results are estimates under the assumptions listed on the page, not advice.

How often are tax rates updated?

Rules files are re-checked whenever an authority publishes a change — budget day, a new finance act, a central-bank rate decision — and the "last checked" date on each page moves when they are.

Which countries are covered?

Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and the EU, plus global calculators that work in any currency.

Can I report a wrong figure?

Yes — every calculator page has a "Found an error?" link. Send the inputs, the result, what you expected and the source; confirmed corrections are published within a week.
